This is an introduction to the design, creation, and maintenance of web pages and websites, including a foundation of coding in HTML and CSS. Students learn how to critically evaluate website quality in terms of web design standards, as well as how to create and maintain quality web pages. The course progresses from introductory work to a culminating project in which students design and develop functioning websites.
Mr. Walther is a 2001 graduate of Bishop McNamara and has been a member of the BMHS faculty since 2016, teaching in the Technology & Engineering department.
After graduating from Bishop McNamara, Mr. Walther received his Bachelor's of Science Degree from Towson University.
The opportunity to come back and be a part of the McNamara community as a teacher was something Mr. Walther eagerly accepted. He enjoys his day-to-day interactions with the students, while teaching them important skills that will help them throughout their high school careers and beyond.
